FAQ

  • Yes, we do sell limited numbers of Sheela's each year to raise funds for ourselves, the project and for women's charities. Keep an eye on our Instagram for info on our rare flash sales or join our mailing list to receive news of an upcoming sale. Sheelas usually sell out within an hour of the sale launch so make sure you’re on time to get yours.

  • In the future as Project Sheela expands, we will need help with reaching new and further locations. If you're interested in being a part of Project Sheela and you are based outside of Dublin, Ireland, please get in touch.

  • Yes please. If you have a location in mind that relates to current or historic women's rights issues or stories anywhere in the world, please let us know.

  • The process of making and placing art in a public place is not neccessary illegal. Public spaces are over run with advertisments that the public has no control over. Street art aims to take back some control of our public spaces and to contribute something of value to the people that encounter it, asking absolutely nothing in return. Project Sheela aims to be as respectful to public and private property as possible, while communicating what we feel are very important messages.
